Soprano Etīna Emīlija Saulīte (born 2005, Latvia) is a Latvian soprano whose career has rapidly developed across Europe's leading opera institutions. Before the age of twenty-one, her artistic journey had already taken her from Riga to Teatro alla Scala, the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest, and the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin.

She completed her studies in classical vocal performance, music theory and music history at the NMV Emīla Dārziņa Music School in Riga, where she studied with Irma Pavāre. Her artistic development has also been shaped through private coaching with Marek Rzepka, Edgars Kramiņš and Irina Gavrilovici.

From 2023 to 2025, Saulīte was a member of the Latvian National Opera Chorus, where she gained extensive stage experience before making her role debut as Liù in Puccini's Turandot. Alongside her operatic work, she appeared as a soloist in numerous concerts throughout Latvia.

In 2025, she completed the Georg Solti Accademia in Italy and was subsequently invited to perform at the Solti Gala – Rising Stars at the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest, presenting arias from La Bohème and La Traviata alongside an international cast of young singers.

The same year, she was admitted to the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, the opera academy of Teatro alla Scala in Milan. In December 2025, she made her Teatro alla Scala debut in the title role of Silvia Colasanti's Anna A., presented on the main stage of the theatre as part of the Accademia's season.

Since 2026, Saulīte has been a member of the Opernstudio at Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin, where her repertoire includes Gräfin Ceprano/Page (Rigoletto), Valletto/Amore (L'incoronazione di Poppea), First Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), and Anna in Puccini's Le Villi. Alongside her stage work, she regularly appears as a soloist in orchestral and chamber concerts presented by the Staatsoper.

Her concert activity includes the programme Debisī. Ir jāpiedzīvo, performed in several Latvian cities, as well as concerts presented by the Pēteris Vasks Foundation. Her performances have also been broadcast on Latvian Radio 3 – Klasika.

Among her recent distinctions are selection as a finalist of the Belvedere Singing Competition (2024), Second Prize at the Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition (2025), First Prize and the Audience Prize at the Vienna International Music Competition (2026), and the Under 25 Prize at CLIP – Concorso Lirico Internazionale di Portofino (2026).

Saulīte's repertoire spans lyric, bel canto and early spinto roles, with particular affinity for the works of Bellini, Donizetti, Puccini and Verdi.
